One of the Newcastle area’s leading providers of conservatories and roofing solutions is rebranding to reflect the increased array of services it offers to its clients. Based in Blaydon-on-Tyne to the southwest of Newcastle City Centre, North East Conservatory Solutions has spent almost a decade and a half providing bespoke conservatory roof fabrication services to clients in the local area. In 2021, it is looking to the future — and to expansion.
The new year has brought great changes to the company, and the organisation has grown its range of products and services significantly. With this in mind, North East Conservatory Solutions has become the NECS Group, a name that better reflects the new and expanded structure of the company and brand.
The NECS Group will feature two new divisions under its broader umbrella. These divisions will exist as brands in their own right but will be part of the same NECS family and will be characterised by the same values and corporate outlook.
NECS Roof Systems, which will provide replacement solid conservatory roofs, as well as standard glass roofs. The NECS Group will include several of its existing products in its range, including the Liniar and Guardian Warm Roof. The company will also work with carefully selected third-party providers to provide additional elements that meet the company’s standards of quality and efficacy, including industry leaders such as VELUX.
NECS Building Plastics, a range of consumables used to achieve the right results on conservatory installation projects. These consumables include sealants, soffits, downpipes, sills, trims and other items. The organisation will once again be providing its self-developed products alongside those of well-established brands in an effort to support the work of both personal and trade clients. Brands available as part of the range include Floplast, Liniar, Timco and Soudal, and all products will be made available online. Customers can opt for direct delivery or click and collect, or they can visit NECS Group’s physical location to purchase items face to face.
The last 12 months have been trying for many businesses in the northeast, as well as right across the UK. However, North East Conservatory Solutions has sought to protect itself against the worst of the economic storm, with a considerable degree of success. By diversifying its services, the organisation has been able to secure a positive revenue stream, enabling it to target growth. What’s more, with the general population now finding themselves spending increasing amounts of time in their own homes, NECS is also experiencing more motivation to invest in those homes.
NECS Group’s Managing Director, Andrew Kerr, is optimistic about the company’s future following the rebrand.
“This feels like the right move for North East Conservatory Solutions, as well as for the customers who depend on us for fabrication services,” Mr Kerr said. “We’ve always wanted to be able to do more — and to offer more — to our customers, and our growth in recent years has allowed us to do just that. As our scope broadened and our capability increased, it became clear that our old branding wasn’t quite reflective of what we had become as a company. With the rebrand, we feel that we are on track for a bright future.”
